What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services in Node and frontend experiences in React.
• Scale core API to handle millions of daily requests.
• Investigate and resolve issues using monitoring and logging tools.
• Participate in code reviews and interview processes to maintain technical quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define the roadmap based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, Austin, or Washington D.C.
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally fullstack.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Python, Java, or equivalent languages.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications.
• Strong communication skills to break down complex solutions.
• Curiosity to stay updated with new technologies and fintech trends.

Nice to have

• Experience in Finance / FinTech industry.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of payment rails such as ACH, RTP.
• DevOps experience with AWS, Cloudflare, and CI/CD tools.
