What you will do

• Lead and grow inclusive engineering teams, fostering a high-trust environment focused on psychological safety and accountability.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to shape technical strategy and delivery plans for cloud-based platforms.
• Uphold high engineering standards across code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.
• Drive the practical adoption of AI tools and LLMs to improve developer productivity and embed AI capabilities into products.
• Manage delivery commitments, removing blockers and optimizing the overall developer experience.
• Support healthy on-call practices, retrospectives, and post-incident reviews to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering with several years of experience in technical leadership and people management.
• Experience building and scaling high-performing teams and delivering customer-facing web applications.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, AWS, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and a strong grasp of system design fundamentals.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, observability, and secure production systems.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile and Lean environments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience introducing AI or ML tools within engineering teams.
