TL;DR

Manager, Bid & Proposal Operations (SaaS): Leading the end-to-end RFx lifecycle and coordinating cross-functional inputs to deliver competitive proposals with an accent on process optimization and technical content creation. Focus on implementing AI automation for knowledge management and scaling the proposal operations function.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US East time zone)

Salary: $135k – $145k

What you will do

  • Design and implement the end-to-end operating model for proposal submissions, including qualification frameworks and standardized workflows.
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop the Proposal Operations team.
  • Project manage the entire lifecycle of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs from triage to final submission.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Sales Engineering, Legal, Finance, and InfoSec to gather subject matter expertise for complex bids.
  • Translate complex technical concepts, such as SaaS architectures and data governance, into persuasive proposal language.
  • Administer the proposal content library using AI automation (Claude Cowork) to optimize workflows and generate first drafts.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in proposal coordination or technical writing within a SaaS or B2B tech company.
  • Must be based in the US East time zone to coordinate between North American and EMEA teams.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Strong proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude Cowork) for content generation and prompt engineering.
  • Exceptional technical writing, editing, and project management skills.
  • Experience working closely with pre-sales or sales engineering teams.
