Production Maintenance Engineer

What you will do

• Execute planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure full compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and health and safety policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support during process investigations and equipment setup.

Requirements

• Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience working in a regulated industrial environment such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing.
• Strong engineering craft skills and fault-finding capability.
• Understanding of industrial equipment and control systems.
• Must be available to work the night shift pattern (Sunday to Wednesday).
• Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards, including working in confined spaces or using RPE.
