Salary: $133,000 - $183,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Break down large projects into individual tasks and deliver them in phases to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation to articulate technical constraints and risks.
  • Maintain system availability by creating and monitoring metrics and supporting on-call efforts.
  • Contribute to team growth and the hiring process by participating in interviews.
  • Write clear, well-tested, and extensible code for a large-scale money movement system.

Requirements

  • 2.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin for designing and launching backend systems.
  • Experience with distributed systems building blocks, including AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing and launching APIs at scale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be based in Canada.
