What you will do

• Develop, write code, and document functionality for fintech software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial process software
• Identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows using accounting domain expertise
• Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
• Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Prior professional experience as an accountant or financial analyst required
• 3-7 years of experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like Go, Python, or Java
• Solid understanding of financial operations including reconciliation and reporting
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and backend API development
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
