TL;DR
Software Engineer, Treasury (Python/AWS): Building mission-critical backend services for ledgers, ACH and wire infrastructure, and high-precision reconciliation with an accent on reliability, correctness, and distributed financial systems. Focus on improving resilience, orchestrating funds flows between financial institutions, and leading architectural solutions for complex scaling challenges.
Location: Remote; candidates must be located in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Poland, or the Czech Republic. Visa sponsorship or assistance is not available. NYC-based employees work from the SoHo office three days per week.
Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annual US salary, plus equity.

What you will do
- Own Treasury initiatives from planning through launch while aligning stakeholders and maintaining high quality standards.
- Build and maintain backend services that manage funds flows between and external financial institutions.
- Develop and improve the core ledger, ACH and wire infrastructure, and reconciliation systems.
- Improve resilience, reliability, and correctness across mission-critical financial services.
- At senior level, lead architectural direction and solve complex technical challenges as systems scale.
Requirements
- Strong business and technical curiosity with the ability to investigate systems to their root causes.
- A structured approach to learning complex technical and business domains.
- Autonomy, urgency, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in an outcome-oriented environment.
- Python experience and familiarity with modern cloud-native systems.
- At senior level, experience building and scaling distributed systems.
- Current location in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Poland, or the Czech Republic is required.

- Prior fintech experience is not required, but interest in the payments ecosystem is valuable.
