TL;DR

Senior Manager - CRM (CRM): Lead transformation of marketing communications and brand capability across CRM, digital, lifecycle marketing, and customer journeys with an accent on cross-functional delivery, martech & automation, and governance/compliance. Focus on modernising operating models and campaign operations to improve customer experience, speed to market, operational efficiency, and measurable commercial performance.

Location: Nottingham (UK) with travel to other sites when required.

What you will do

  • Define and deliver the marketing communications transformation roadmap aligned to business strategy.
  • Redesign end-to-end campaign and communications processes, including briefing, prioritisation, approvals, QA, and go-live governance.
  • Partner with CRM, Digital, Data, and Technology teams to evolve marketing technology, automation, and orchestration for campaign automation and personalisation.
  • Improve lifecycle customer communication relevance and effectiveness, establishing KPIs and performance frameworks and using insight/data to optimise.
  • Ensure customer communications meet regulatory, legal, and brand standards; improve controls, auditability, and operational governance.
  • Lead complex cross-functional transformation initiatives from concept through implementation across Marketing, Brand, CRM, Data, Technology, CX, Commercial, Compliance, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in marketing transformation, customer communications, CRM, or marketing operations.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programmes to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM and lifecycle marketing, digital marketing and customer journeys, brand/communications strategy, campaign operations, martech ecosystems, and operating model transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical capability, able to operate strategically while remaining delivery-focused.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated or customer-centric industries (utilities, telecoms, retail, financial services, subscription businesses).
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments.
  • Understanding of AI-driven marketing, automation, and personalisation.
  • Consulting or transformation background.
