Sr. Solutions Architect - Oil, Gas, and Energy (AI)

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually; total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Act as the main technical voice for multiple large Oil, Gas, and Energy clients.
• Define and direct technical strategies with Enterprise Account Executives for major accounts.
• Lead customers through transformational journeys, evaluating and adopting Databricks solutions.
• Drive wider and deeper adoption of ML and AI across relevant industry use cases.
• Build technical champions, align account strategies, and establish virtual teams.
• Provide structured mentorship and technical leadership to other team members.

Requirements

• Successful experience in pre-sales with large enterprises and a track record of helping organizations become more data-driven.
• Experience working with very large global accounts exceeding $1 million ARR.
• Experience in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership.
• Ability to establish and lead virtual teams to success within an account.
• Ability to build relationships with executives and influencers and present convincing points of view to decision-makers.
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Ability to drive data-driven business transformation and organizational change with data.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
