Principal Enterprise Architect (AI)

Salary: $230,000–$310,000 USD annually, depending on location, job family, background, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Provide principal-level technical leadership for complex, strategically significant global sales engagements and independently define enterprise architecture approaches.
• Develop reusable enterprise reference architectures and integration blueprints, including SAP integration patterns and SAP Business Data Cloud alignment.
• Co-create solution visions with C-suite executives and demonstrate the business value of data unification, AI, and the Autonomous Enterprise.
• Set technical objectives and success criteria for proof-of-value engagements with strategic customers and translate validated approaches into reusable field guidance.
• Own the technical strategy for landmark, multi-year, multi-million-dollar pursuits within a MEDDPICC-driven sales process.
• Partner with Product Management, Field CTOs, Engineering, Solutions Consulting, and strategic customers to shape product direction, validate emerging capabilities, resolve architectural issues, mentor senior technical professionals, and represent hirify.global at industry events.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture within enterprise software, including a demonstrable track record with highly complex strategic data unification, AI, and platform engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a deeply related technical field.
• Recognized expertise in enterprise data architecture, master data management, cloud-native technologies, and advanced AI/ML applications, with credibility advising Chief Architects and CDOs.
• Proven ability to design and defend end-to-end solution architectures across complex, heterogeneous enterprise environments.
• Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and build trusted-advisor relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CDOs, and other C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies.
• Experience shaping and winning landmark, multi-year, multi-million-dollar enterprise software deals globally.
• Deep experience working with Product Management to translate customer and field insight into product direction and bring roadmap awareness into strategic engagements.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, master data management, and data unification, with the ability to develop expert-level command of hirify.global’s platform and architecture.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technology trends and translate them into practical recommendations for customer architecture, product direction, and field strategy. Superior communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; ability to lead complex technical initiatives through influence, align cross-functional teams, mentor senior technical professionals without direct reporting authority, and advise senior customer leaders on enterprise data strategy and long-term transformation roadmaps.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related advanced technical field.
• Hands-on architectural expertise and at least one certification with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem, SAP Business Data Cloud, and integrating third-party platforms into SAP landscapes.
• Experience in a product-facing, Field CTO, or design-partner role that formalized the presales–product feedback loop.
• Frequent event speaking or content authorship in data unification, AI, distributed systems, or enterprise architecture.
• Ability to invent and prototype novel solutions to previously unsolved business or technical challenges.
• Ability to build productive relationships with industry experts, technology partners, and customer architecture leaders.
