Sr. Data Solution Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Design end-to-end enterprise data and AI solution architectures covering ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
• Define scalable, reusable architecture standards and lead technical evaluations for data, AI, cloud, and integration technologies.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference implementations while performing architecture validation, solution reviews, and technical troubleshooting.
• Partner with engineering, application, security, infrastructure, analytics, and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Establish governance for privacy, security, compliance, data lineage, metadata, model governance, and AI transparency.
• Prepare executive-level architecture presentations, roadmaps, risk assessments, trade-offs, and investment recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, analytics platforms, or software engineering, including 3+ years designing AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Experience defining Enterprise AI strategies and governance programs, working with generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise technology initiatives, working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups, and leading large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and modern data platforms, with Azure preferred.
• Required skills include data architecture and modeling, data warehousing and lakehouse architecture, data integration and ETL/ELT architecture, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, semantic model creation, MLOps and AI governance platforms, Power BI, master data management, API and event-driven architectures, data governance and metadata management, Python, DevOps and CI/CD, Informatica IDMC, SQL, data engineering concepts, enterprise solution architecture, and AI and machine learning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Claude Enterprise, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, or Cortex.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, medical distribution, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, technology, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, or digital transformation.
• Snowflake SnowPro Advanced, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, Databricks Data Engineer or Data Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or TOGAF certification.
• Experience with Databricks, vector databases, semantic search, RAG architecture design, or knowledge graphs.
