TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting the execution and optimization of marketing campaigns and reporting infrastructure for the US Cards team with an accent on performance diagnostics and data-driven hypotheses. Focus on analyzing customer acquisition economics and conducting competitive market analysis to drive strategic decisions.

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA (Work from home every Monday and Friday)

What you will do

  • Execute and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns, from targeting and creative to post-campaign analysis.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and reporting infrastructure across key business areas.
  • Diagnose changes in performance metrics and present root-cause findings.
  • Develop and prove out business hypotheses using data.
  • Analyze customer acquisition channel performance and economics.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform business strategy.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a strong academic record.
  • Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with data.
  • Investigative mindset and high curiosity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Arlington, VA.

Nice to have

  • Experience coding in SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
