Staff Product Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build security controls and cybersecurity infrastructure that enable secure scaling and improve organisational resilience.
• Design and deliver security improvements across applications, software, services, systems, and networks.
• Develop detection strategies and incident response workflows, and investigate, contain, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyse endpoint, network, and cloud telemetry to identify, investigate, and mitigate threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment, tactical forensics, threat hunting, and threat intelligence analysis.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to embed security into new and existing services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or incident response within a technology company.
• In-depth expertise with at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of software development infrastructure, including CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Deep understanding of attacker tools and techniques, detection and prevention methods, and high-quality incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical security and software concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivation, continuous learning, and the ability to solve complex challenges in a high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH.
• Experience with Splunk, security monitoring tools, Kubernetes, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, GSuite, or cloud-based VPN services.
• Experience with Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• Published cybersecurity articles, journals, or blogs.
