AI-Focused Red Team/Blue Team Operator (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Conduct offensive and defensive cyber operations, including security assessments, adversary emulation, penetration testing, threat hunting, and vulnerability analysis.
• Perform AI/ML security assessments covering prompt injection, jailbreaks, indirect injection, RAG poisoning, model evasion, data poisoning, model extraction, and tool-use abuse.
• Assess AI models and pipelines against the OWASP LLM Top 10 and AI-specific threat models.
• Design and improve AI defenses, including guardrails, content filtering, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated alert enrichment.
• Build agentic workflows for triage, detection tuning, report generation, and security reconnaissance.
• Leverage AI for code analysis, payload generation, threat hunting, and large-scale reconnaissance while supporting detection of zero-day vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance required; SCI eligibility preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required due to clearance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on work in both red team and blue team operations.
• Experience with offensive security testing, adversary emulation, defensive operations, vulnerability assessment, threat hunting, and AI-enabled security tools or AI/ML systems.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, cloud environments, enterprise networks, MITRE ATT&CK, intrusion kill chain concepts, and security tools such as NESSUS, Nmap, Tenable, Kali, Burp, Metasploit, or Core Impact.

Nice to have

• Experience in federal, defense, intelligence, or other classified environments.
• Cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, plus container and Kubernetes security.
• Knowledge of adversarial machine learning, model security testing, AI governance, or secure AI deployment patterns.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, GPEN, GXPN, CRTO, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GMON, GNFA, CISSP, CCSP, or Security+.
• Scripting or development experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages, and experience supporting purple team exercises.
