What you will do

• Manage acreage planning, strategy, logistics, and resource allocation for field activities and grower relations.
• Coach contracted seed growers on agronomic improvements to enhance seed quality and yields.
• Ensure compliance with government certifying agencies and stay current on agricultural programs and environmental issues.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of field inspectors and oversee a plant safety program.
• Act as a technical expert for nutrient and herbicide recommendations and integrated pest management.
• Collaborate with local sales teams and internal partners to meet productivity and data collection objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agribusiness, or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience in agronomy, field science, or agribusiness.
• Must hold a valid US driver's license in good standing.
• VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Proficiency in computer systems including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Commercial pesticide applicators license.
• Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
• UAV pilot certification.
• Knowledge of digital agronomy systems, such as GPS mapping and precision ag equipment monitors.
• Prior people management or supervisory experience.
