What you will do

• Define the 1-3 year strategic roadmap and technical vision for the Realtime Data Platform.
• Lead the modernization of the core data platform to introduce real-time analytical processing at petabyte scale.
• Partner with product teams to enable AI-powered applications and real-time dashboards.
• Scale and structure engineering teams by hiring new talent and mentoring managers and senior individual contributors.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on Data and AI for cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data or software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams of 10+ people, including managers.
• Strong expertise in distributed data processing (Apache Spark, Databricks) and event streaming (Kafka).
• Knowledge of modern data storage and serving technologies such as CubeJS, ElasticSearch, and Clickhouse.
• Familiarity with observability tooling including Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Location: Based in Singapore

• Experience within the financial domain.
• Hands-on design experience with modern Lakehouse architectures.
• Ability to rapidly evaluate new technologies and conduct PoCs to drive architecture design.
