TL;DR

Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure): Designing and architecting Azure-based cloud solutions for the Manufacturing and Automotive sectors with an accent on workload identification and PoC execution. Focus on driving customer adoption of hirify.global’s Azure services through technical pre-sales and collaboration with Microsoft.

Location: Must be based in the United States. Preference for candidates in the Midwest/Central US (e.g., Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago). Hybrid work environment.

What you will do

• Operate in a technical pre-sales capacity to identify candidate workloads and design Azure-based solutions for the manufacturing sector.
• Run proofs-of-concept (PoCs) to demonstrate solution fit and move customers into active consumption.
• Collaborate closely with Microsoft Sales and Technical teams to provide expertise on hirify.global cloud services.
• Conduct technical workshops and present solution-selling briefings to customers and partners.
• Publish reference architectures and best practices internally and externally.
• Maintain opportunity status within Salesforce and stay updated on public cloud developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related field experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred).
• Expertise in Network Attached Storage (NAS) and workloads like SAP, Oracle, SQL, VMware, and HPC.
• Proven experience in a pre-sales role running PoCs for cloud or hardware solutions.
• Strong English language skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned geography to customer locations.

Nice to have

• hirify.global ONTAP experience.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and data migration methodologies.
• Azure Administrator or Network Engineer certifications.
