What you will do

• Define and govern end-state application architectures, including microservices, API strategies, and data models.
• Lead architecture reviews and design sign-offs to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices.
• Drive technical excellence through TDD, clean architecture, and GitOps delivery workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and scalable platform solutions.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex application and pipeline issues.
• Support pre-sales activities, including SOW development and technical proposal reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in an Architect role designing distributed cloud-smart applications.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Must be based in the USA

Nice to have

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) such as Backstage or Port.
• Observability and SRE expertise using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Exposure to GenAI, LLM APIs, and RAG patterns.
• FinOps-aware design and cloud cost governance.
• Relevant certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Professional Solutions Architect or CKA/CKAD.
