hirify.global is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to advance sustainable urban air mobility.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of mass properties programs across multiple aircraft platforms.
  • Maintain the master database tracking weight, center of gravity, and inertia for all aircraft variants.
  • Partner with design and structures teams to validate mass assumptions and drive weight optimization.
  • Conduct aircraft inspections and lead physical weighing operations on the factory floor.
  • Prepare documentation and analysis to support FAA certification and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement tools and workflows to improve data collection and communication across the program.

Requirements

  • Must be based in San Jose, California
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in mass properties or weight engineering on aircraft or aerospace vehicle programs.
  • Strong understanding of weight and balance principles for dynamic systems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Ability to move between analytical office work and hands-on data collection on the factory floor.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
  • Experience with ARP4754A certification processes.
  • Background with eVTOL, rotorcraft, or novel aircraft configurations.
  • Familiarity with database management or mass properties-specific software.
