Salary: $208,500 – $284,025

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of electrical engineers, managing hiring, performance, and technical development.
• Own electrical and software integration requirements including power distribution, signal conditioning, and sensor mapping.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships for electrical hardware activities.
• Drive electrical validation strategy, establishing test procedures and best practices.
• Oversee test infrastructure build-out and ensure environment readiness for 2028 deployment.
• Communicate technical decisions and align cross-functional stakeholders across embedded, controls, and mechanical teams.

Requirements

• Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience including hardware design and integration
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience with DAQ and test systems such as NI PXI, dSpace, or Speedgoat
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, TestStand, and at least one scripting language like Python, C++, or C#
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and comply with U.S. export controls

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of engineering management experience
• Familiarity with real-time simulation systems or FPGA-based hardware
• Background in high-reliability, safety-critical, or regulated industries like aerospace, defense, or nuclear
