Financial Analyst (Level 2)

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Level 2): Supporting program quality for Precision Fires through financial analysis, cost baseline management, and variance reporting with an accent on Earned Value analysis and headcount planning. Focus on delivering accurate financial insights to drive decision-making and ensuring compliance within a high-security defense environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas. This is a hybrid role requiring part-time on-site presence at a facility that requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you will do

• Establish and manage cost baselines and Estimates at Completion (EAC) for program budgets.
• Perform Earned Value analysis and generate variance reports.
• Conduct headcount analyses to support resource planning.
• Analyze financial variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate financial results and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, graphs, and macros.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of financial software including COBRA, EFS-Lite, SAP, and Apriso.
• Experience with cost tracking and project management.
