What you will do
- Provide insurance and billing support to patients via phone, text, and email.
- Handle outgoing Medicare Reinspection calls and manage patient financial outreach for coverage denials.
- Educate patients on flexible payment options and resolve billing inquiries.
- Maintain a knowledge base of troubleshooting resolutions and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental policies, security standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in medical billing, including inbound and outbound calling.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with NikoHealth or ConnectPlus platforms.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare or medtech environment.
