What you will do

• Process incoming referrals and interview patients or referral sources to secure demographic and qualifying data.
• Manage the verification of benefits and collection of required medical documentation.
• Coordinate communication between referral sources, patients, and internal teams via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate records and manage patient protected health information within Salesforce.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, TJC, and federal healthcare program requirements.
• Collaborate with field sales and commercial operations to support patient access goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• At least three years of medical experience, preferably in home medical equipment.
• Previous experience in healthcare or home care intake and authorization processes.
• Strong knowledge of insurance requirements, coding, and coverage policies.
• Proficiency in data entry and administrative organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
