What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for member calls and prior authorization inquiries.
- Intake clinical requests from prescribers and members using client-specific clinical questions.
- Advise callers on exception requests for formularies, copays, and early refills.
- Triage incoming calls from members, prescribers, and pharmacies with professional etiquette.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure resolution of health and safety standards.
- Review pharmacy claims to support the Fraud, Waste, and Abuse program.
Requirements
- Current National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and a valid license.
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, PBM, or Health Plan.
- 2+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Secure, high-speed broadband internet connection (1 Gig plan required).
- Ability to work any assigned shift.
Nice to have
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
- Experience with Medicare.
