What you will do
- Reconcile equity compensation financial reporting results between prior customer results and NextGen, including ASC 718 expense, corporate/deferred tax, disclosures, and ASC 260 diluted EPS.
- Reconcile participant- and grant-level equity administration data (balances and lifecycle events) between the legacy platform and NextGen, including ESPP enrollment, contributions, and purchases.
- Develop and deliver reconciliation comparison reports, identify and quantify calculation discrepancies, determine root causes, and recommend resolutions.
- Produce clear, auditable reconciliation documentation and maintain follow-up trackers for open administrative items through closure.
- Coordinate across cross-functional dependencies (data loading, platform configuration, and reconciliation workstreams) to validate migrated data and ensure fixes flow through correctly.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for customer stakeholders, meet SLAs/quality standards, and mentor more junior contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting with a focus on equity compensation management and reconciliation.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 718 expense reporting, ASC 260 diluted EPS, corporate tax, and disclosure concepts.
- Experience with administrative/participant-level equity reconciliation and equity-related disclosures and year-end tax reporting (W-2 inserts, Forms 3921 and 3922).
- Experience with data migration, mapping, and validation across financial and equity administration systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable querying databases (SQL) and working with large data sets.
