TL;DR
Technical Architect (IAM): Designing and implementing secure identity solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on cloud-based IAM architectures, SSO, and complex security protocols. Focus on translating business requirements into actionable technical strategies and providing leadership within professional services delivery teams.
Location: Must be based in the US (specifically Washington, Illinois, California, New York, Texas, or Washington DC).
Salary: $200,000 – $308,000 USD (OTE).

What you will do
- Lead the gathering of business, functional, and technical requirements for identity platform implementations.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable system designs and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight as part of a professional services delivery team.
- Collaborate with customers to document technical requirements and support project planning.
- Conduct periodic customer health-checks and project reviews to ensure high business value.
- Interact with CxOs and high-level executives to drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT/software development and technical architecture experience.
- 3+ years of consulting experience and driving application architecture design.
- 3+ years of experience with IAM architectures (SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP).
- 3+ years of experience implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce).
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Nice to have
- Okta Certified Technical Architect or Consultant/Developer certifications.
- Knowledge of software development security, cryptography, and API Gateways.
- Experience with cloud/virtualization technologies (VMware, EC2, OpenStack).
- TOGAF or CISSP certification.
