What you will do

• Provide legal guidance on compliance risks and issues related to mortgage origination and operations.
• Support responses to regulatory examinations, consumer complaints, and stakeholder inquiries.
• Develop remediation solutions for regulatory findings identified through testing and monitoring.
• Draft and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide legal support for technology systems, including LOS and point-of-sale platforms.
• Prepare legal research and memoranda for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage lending compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations including Dodd-Frank, QM/ATR, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, UDAAP, and SAFE Act.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
