TL;DR

Location: Victoria, British Columbia (Onsite)

Salary: $62,605 - $106,700 annually

What you will do

  • Prepare design drawings using Civil 3D tools including alignments, profiles, sections, and pipe networks.
  • Perform intermediate-level design calculations and verify work prepared by team members.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are followed according to professional practice management plans.
  • Prepare documentation for design folders, technical reports, and construction specifications.
  • Calculate design quantities for materials and prepare cost estimates.
  • Conduct on-site inspection duties as required.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in a civil consulting engineering environment.
  • Degree or Diploma in engineering technology or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Eligibility for registration with ASTTBC or ASET.
  • Strong understanding of CAD standards and terminology.
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle for site visits.

Nice to have

  • Experience with municipal infrastructure projects such as roads and utilities.
  • Construction inspection experience.
