Electronic Assembler

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite production role

Salary: $17.64–$32.74 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components, PCB assemblies, subassemblies, and related units.
• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble products using drawings, visual aids, schematics, and written instructions.
• Hand-load PCB assemblies and solder electronic components, including fine-pitch components, under a microscope.
• Identify component values and repair soldering anomalies using lead and lead-free solder.
• Apply IPC workmanship and acceptance standards, including IPC-J-STD and IPC-A-610.
• Attend offsite training when required to maintain certification requirements.

Requirements

• US citizenship or qualifying US-person status is required for the position due to US Government contractual and export-control requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and visual aids.
• Good mechanical aptitude, flexibility, communication skills, and ability to complete assigned tasks independently.
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
