What you will do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for flowthrough entities in the winery and agribusiness sectors.
• Assist with tax planning, consulting, and multi-state compliance engagements.
• Support inventory costing, production accounting, and valuation matters including UNICAP.
• Conduct tax research and apply findings to client-specific recommendations.
• Manage excise tax and beverage alcohol regulation compliance.
• Communicate directly with client controllers, CFOs, and owners to provide updates and gather information.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on flowthrough taxation.
• Experience working with winery, vineyard, or agribusiness clients is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred or in progress.
• Must be within 45 minutes of a hirify.global office to adhere to the hybrid work policy.
