What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of insurance tax professionals to support their technical and professional growth.
• Manage and expand the insurance tax practice by building new client relationships and increasing revenue.
• Oversee the compliance function for life, non-life, and captive insurance clients, including the technical review of federal and state corporate tax returns.
• Conduct technical tax research and implement special projects tailored to insurance clients.
• Develop and execute strategies for insurance-focused tax planning and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor industry trends and educate the team on developments within the insurance sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• At least 10+ years of experience in public accounting or a corporate/public blend.
• Previous experience in Corporation Taxation and the Insurance industry.
• Proven leadership skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Authorized to work in the US (implied by licensure and tax jurisdiction requirements).
