Senior Manager/Director, Tax - Insurance

Location: Remote

Salary: $142,000–$192,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of insurance tax professionals.
• Build client relationships and contribute to practice growth and revenue development.
• Serve as a technical resource on insurance tax matters, including research, planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee compliance for life, non-life, and captive insurance clients.
• Supervise the preparation and technical review of federal and state corporate insurance income tax returns.
• Monitor insurance industry trends and educate colleagues on relevant developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• Previous corporation taxation and insurance experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in public accounting or a combined corporate/public accounting environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing client service teams and multiple projects.
• Exceptional client service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
