Tax Manager - High Net Worth (Tax)

Location: Hybrid role in Denver, Colorado or Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Salary: $106,000–$160,000 base pay annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead complex tax compliance engagements according to professional standards, budgets, and deadlines.
• Advise clients and associates on accounting and tax matters, including unusual tax issues.
• Plan and schedule engagements, manage client expectations, and communicate project status.
• Review tax workpapers, provision calculations, financial statements, reports, depreciation schedules, and property tax returns.
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff, senior accountants, and managers.
• Support firm initiatives, client account planning, industry events, and business development activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of job-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPA certification required in the state of practice.
• Subject matter expertise in comparable accounting or tax services.
• Management or mentoring experience and experience making recommendations to management.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Caseware, depreciation processing software, Axcess, RIA, and GoFileRoom is strongly desired.
