Location: Must be based in or able to work from Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid)

Salary: $150,000–$185,000

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture and delivery of CDS data transformation capabilities.
• Define and enforce schema design, validation, and data integrity approaches.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with program management and government stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Oversee planning, estimation, and execution of development tasks within Agile cycles.
• Contribute hands-on to the design and implementation of critical system components.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role
• Strong experience with modern programming languages (Python, Java, or C++)
• Experience designing systems for structured data formats (XML, JSON, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical field
• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or DoD software programs
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and RMF-related engineering
• Background in space, aerospace, or command-and-control systems
• Current DoD Security Clearance
