Salary: $120,675 – $201,125 per year

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and testable backend services.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and code quality issues.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, and test automation.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and security teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Take ownership of engineering initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship
- 2-10 years of experience in software engineering.
- High proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms.
- Experience with Python, Docker, Kafka, and Redis/Valkey.
- Strong DevOps experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, networking, and security.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and AWS cloud services (MSK, Aurora).
- Strong foundation in Linux file systems, memory management, and multi-threading.
- Experience maintaining large-scale production deployments.
