Salary: $120,675 – $201,125 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and testable backend services.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and code quality issues.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, and test automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and security teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of engineering initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship
• 2-10 years of experience in software engineering.
• High proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with Python, Docker, Kafka, and Redis/Valkey.
• Strong DevOps experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, networking, and security.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and AWS cloud services (MSK, Aurora).
• Strong foundation in Linux file systems, memory management, and multi-threading.
• Experience maintaining large-scale production deployments.
