Salary: $197,529 - $276,539

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain ground systems for National Security Systems (NSS) initiatives.
  • Ensure software compliance with security policies and TS/SCI standards.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to maintenance.
  • Mentor team members on security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define systems architecture and design specifications.
  • Engage with government agencies and contractors to align engineering efforts with program objectives.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software systems with a focus on NSS development.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
  • Expertise in Agile, DevSecOps, and AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with space communications protocols (CCSDS, DDS, GMSEC).

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field.
  • Experience with spacecraft subsystems and associated software.
  • Expertise in requirements management using DOORS Next Generation (DNG).
  • Familiarity with system safety analysis (FHA, FMECA, FTA).
  • Background working with U.S. Government agencies like NASA, AFRL, or DARPA.
