What you will do

• Define and execute a unified product and technology strategy spanning POS software, payments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and scale engineering teams while embedding Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Drive AI and data foundations, including predictive analytics and generative AI initiatives.
• Oversee QA frameworks and ensure strict compliance with PCI-DSS and data privacy regulations.
• Manage technical support and customer operations, implementing AI-augmented diagnostic tools.
• Partner with executive leadership to position the product in the market and identify new revenue opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Adelaide, South Australia.
• Extensive experience in senior product and technology leadership (CPTO, CTO, or CPO).
• Deep expertise in POS, fintech, payments, or SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Proven track record of scaling product organizations and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering AI/ML and analytics-driven product innovation.

Nice to have

• Experience in POS hardware-software ecosystems or retail technology.
• Familiarity with contactless technologies or next-generation payment rails.
• Background in edge computing or IoT applications.
