What you will do

• Lead the design and development of AC/DC power distribution, electrical interconnect systems, and cable architecture.
• Define and integrate PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff) including hardware architecture and I/O strategy.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-impact team of up to 7 electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through integration and release for reticle inspection platforms.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI S2/S10, UL 508A, NFPA 79, and other certification requirements.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Optical, and Systems Engineering teams to resolve complex system integration challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong expertise in AC/DC power distribution, electrical interconnect, and cable routing design for complex equipment.
• Hands-on experience with PLC system architecture, I/O design, and integration.
• Experience with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems and precision motion/robotics.
• Must be based in Milpitas, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with highly advanced electro-mechanical systems.
• Background in high-precision metrology or imaging platforms.
• Familiarity with EtherCAT-based motion/control systems.
• Proficiency with Creo (MCAD) and Zuken (ECAD).
