System Administrator II (Citrix)

System Administrator II (Citrix): Providing system administration and technical support for Trusted Thin Client (TTC) infrastructure to support the USAFCENT Combined Air Operations Center with an accent on server maintenance and security compliance. Focus on managing physical and virtual server systems, resolving infrastructure problems via ACAS and HBSS, and optimizing system performance.

Location: On-site at Shaw AFB, SC. Must have Secret Clearance to start.

What you will do

• Perform system administration for Trusted Thin Client (TTC) server and client hardware, software, applications, and services.
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server systems, including core and functional services.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support and develop glue-ware to support operational applications and security patches.
• Manage user accounts, profiles, and access, ensuring adherence to established security policies.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as ACAS and HBSS to detect, analyze, and resolve platform and infrastructure problems.
• Evaluate current architecture and research new technologies to provide hardware and software upgrade recommendations.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance is mandatory to start.
• DoD 8140 DCWF 411 Intermediate Level certification.
• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or Networking (CCA-N), or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 4 years' experience, or Associate’s degree and 6 years' experience, or 8 years' of professional experience.
