What you will do

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers and enterprise applications in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Administer virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V, to ensure resource efficiency and high availability.
• Handle Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls to maintain secure operations.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security events using tools like SolarWinds.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for server and application issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
• Basic proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Foundational knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or federal maritime mission programs.
• Experience maintaining enterprise networks and datacenter environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with enterprise servers and virtual machines.
