What you will do

• Own design control of MPCS electrical harness architecture, including the development of drawings, wiring diagrams, and interface documentation.
• Develop cabinet-level power distribution and protection designs while implementing grounding and EMC/EMI mitigation.
• Integrate critical electrical components such as circuit protection devices, contactors, relays, and communication gateways.
• Lead prototype development, laboratory integration, and root-cause analysis of connectivity and electrical issues.
• Collaborate with global suppliers to optimize harness manufacturing through DFM and DFA principles.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to future power conversion product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in electrical harness design, schematic development, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of connector systems, routing practices, and shielding principles.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site in Mossville, IL.

Nice to have

• Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or Creo.
• Knowledge of UL, IEC, and IEEE industrial electrical standards.
• Experience with BESS inverters, UPS systems, or industrial switchgear.
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, and Modbus industrial communication networks.
