What you will do

• Develop and execute government affairs and community engagement strategies across California.
• Build bipartisan relationships with legislators, executive officials, and community leaders.
• Monitor and analyze California's legislative and regulatory developments affecting the AI ecosystem.
• Represent hirify.global in public forums, coalitions, and community events.
• Create clear, accessible policy and technical materials for diverse stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Product, and Communications teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or community engagement.
• Deep understanding of California's state and local political and regulatory environment.
• Proven track record of building trusted relationships with diverse policymakers and community leaders.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills for translating complex technical issues.
• Must be willing to travel regularly within California and occasionally to other Western states.
