What you will do

• Analyze data using mathematical models and statistical techniques to prepare research reports and charts.
• Structure and execute financial transactions, including M&A, debt issuances, and IPOs, primarily for middle market Industrials.
• Develop complex financial models (LBO, NAV, DCF, three-statement) and perform scenario analyses to evaluate client alternatives.
• Prepare marketing documents, information memorandums, and professional presentations for client executives.
• Coordinate with industry coverage groups and internal teams to provide strategic financial advice to public and private companies.
• Conduct due diligence and analyze regulatory filings (8Ks, 10Ks) and Wall Street analyst research reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Proven expertise in creating LBO, NAV, DCF, and three-statement operating models.
• Proficiency with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Dealogic, and Thomson Research Portal.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for complex financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and availability for domestic travel (approx. 5%).
