SVP, Platform (Engineering & Product)

Location: Fully remote, with candidates required to be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Travel is expected for executive off-sites, strategic sessions, hackathons, and company-wide events.

Salary: $222,000–$291,000 USD annual compensation for candidates in Washington, California, New York, and the USA.

What you will do

• Lead the Platform Product and Engineering organizations as a unified executive function reporting to the CEO.
• Define the technical roadmap for the enterprise platform and AI engineering capabilities.
• Centralize and scale authentication, roles and permissions, tasks, workflows, and system logging.
• Oversee multi-cloud deployment of the Third-Party Risk Management application.
• Build reusable platform components, engineering patterns, developer tools, and automated build systems.
• Establish production-grade data pipelines, AI capabilities, testing frameworks, performance SLAs, and metric-driven delivery processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years leading software product and/or engineering organizations in a fast-growing B2B SaaS company.
• 5+ years in executive leadership at SVP, VP, or equivalent level, with experience managing Product Management and Software Engineering simultaneously.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms.
• Technical depth in cloud-native platforms, APIs, microservices, modern data architectures, and AI/GenAI engineering patterns such as model orchestration, RAG, and embeddings.
• Experience managing distributed organizations with VPs, Directors, and Managers, using platform, engineering, quality, availability, and cost-efficiency metrics.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated domains such as GRC, cybersecurity, or fintech.
• Experience scaling enterprise architectures on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience taking AI, agentic workflows, model context protocols, and multi-tenant data pipelines from proof of concept to secure production.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.

Hiring process

• Recruiter screening followed by a strategic alignment interview with the CEO.
• Stakeholder interviews covering architecture, infrastructure, metrics, platform product strategy, and leadership.
• Final interview with members of the executive leadership team; the process involves approximately 5–6 hours of interview time.
