What you will do
- Develop and execute external communications strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market priorities.
- Lead media relations strategy, including proactive pitching and cultivating relationships in AI, technology, and financial media.
- Guide the development of press releases, media pitches, Q&A documents, and executive talking points to ensure messaging consistency.
- Translate proprietary business insights and complex data into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences.
- Manage public relations agency relationships to maximize media impact and program effectiveness.
- Define success metrics and track performance of communication programs using media analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, or journalism in an agency or in-house setting.
- Proven track record in executing strategic external communications and executive visibility programs.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance in the office in Florham Park, NJ.
