Procurement Specialist (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end procurement, including sourcing, vendor negotiation, purchase orders, and order tracking.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for hardware components, engineering materials, indirect goods, and services.
• Partner with engineering and R&D teams to source prototype and production materials based on technical specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, quality, and supply chain risks.
• Maintain procurement records, support budget tracking and cost analysis, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate vendor contract renewals, NDAs, MSAs, export controls, and import requirements with finance and legal.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Coupa, plus Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, hardware, robotics, technology, autonomous vehicle, or AI hardware procurement.
• Ability to read technical specifications for hardware and electronic components.
• Knowledge of EAR/ITAR export control regulations.
• Familiarity with global supply chains, international shipping, and customs processes.
• Korean and English bilingual proficiency.
