What you will do

• Monitor and analyze emerging cultural trends within the Chinese American community across platforms such as RedNote, Bilibili, WeChat, and Weibo.
• Translate cultural nuances into strategic insights to inform campaign creative and messaging.
• Act as a cultural lens for marketing assets, ensuring visual language and slang are tonally appropriate.
• Track sentiment and conversations within local digital hubs to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Maintain marketing tracking metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor business KPIs.
• Conduct competitive analysis on how domestic and international competitors engage Chinese American consumers.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Chinese (reading and writing) and English.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in El Segundo, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, Sociology, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of Chinese American identity, values, and the Gen Z/Millennial diaspora experience.
• Proven experience navigating Chinese social media ecosystems (RedNote, Bilibili, WeChat, Weibo).
• Ability to transform cultural observations into structured, logical recommendations.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in community management, digital marketing, consumer insights, or market research.
• Professional experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or digital media.
• Foundational knowledge of gaming and familiarity with MapleStory.
