What you will do

• Develop EH brake and brake-by-wire control algorithms, including service brake control, diagnostics, and fault handling.
• Utilize Matlab, Simulink, and AUTOSAR to design embedded control algorithms for torque control and state estimation.
• Implement scalable architectures supporting multiple machine platforms and advanced features like ABS and traction control.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards, including ISO 19014, ISO 13849, and ISO 3450.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on valve selection, redundancy concepts, and ECM allocation.
• Support system integration, machine validation, and resolution of EH brake system issues in development and production.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and product development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience in embedded control systems for mobile equipment or automotive applications.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and AUTOSAR toolsets.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ development and safety-critical systems.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
• Proven experience with control system architecture and modular software design.
