What you will do

• Support monthly revenue close and ASC 606 revenue accounting for a defined business area.
• Use AI tools to generate and validate SQL queries, automate variance checks, and flag discrepancies.
• Produce reliable reconciliations and audit support documentation.
• Contribute to SOX and internal control documentation.
• Collaborate closely with billing, product usage, and accounting teams to maintain accurate revenue recognition.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco or New York City with hybrid work schedule.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience including Big 4 public accounting.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and subscription/usage-based revenue recognition.
• Comfortable with SQL or eagerness to learn quickly.
• Experience with NetSuite (ARM), Salesforce CPQ, Stripe, or Metronome.
• SOX/internal controls experience and strong ownership to meet close deadlines.
• AI fluency: Actively use AI tools to improve analysis and workflows.
