Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Bridge the gap between advanced materials development and real-world hardware applications.
• Translate technical strategies into hands-on experiments, prototypes, and validated performance data.
• Execute development plans in close collaboration with the Director of Engineering.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges in real time to inform engineering decisions.
• Ensure that materials and processes are effectively integrated into functional systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hardware applications engineering or prototyping.
• Ability to translate technical strategy into execution and validated data.
• Must be located in or able to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Employer participates in E-Verify).
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and using PPE.
