What you will do

• Perform overhaul, assembly, and disassembly for Naval Propulsion Equipment, including blade installation and removal.
• Interpret technical drawings and instructions to perform work accurately according to standard processes.
• Use advanced troubleshooting logic to identify and resolve complex operational or process issues.
• Maintain assigned work areas, PPE, and tooling to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate within an integrated manufacturing team to meet production targets.
• Identify business improvement opportunities using problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a mechanical field.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and indicators.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Experience using various cranes and lifting devices.
